Learn to Skate Fall/Winter 2018-2019



Please enter your skater information and select the Session and Program you want. Note that several programs are offered on more than one day of the week. Select the day and time that works best for your schedule.

You may pay by credit card, debit card, debit from bank account or by check. If you pay by check, your registration is not complete and skater not permitted to start the program until your check has been received. Checks must be mailed or taken to: Jersey Shore Arena,  1215 Wyckoff Rd, Farmingdale, NJ 07727.

For payment by check, when you get to the checkout screen, under the Payment Options heading, in the box that defaults to "Pay in Full", click it and change to "Pay Offline", and complete the registration so that you get a confirmation. Your registration will not be saved unless you complete it.

Please note:

-There are no makeup sessions or prorates for missed classes.

-Parent/guardian must stay in the building while classes are going on.

-Classes must meet minimum enrollment for the level to be offered.

-10% discount for additional family members if registered at the same time. Choose "Register Another Person" before going to the Shopping Cart Page.

Learn To Skate USA Information

Parent & Tot: Toddlers & Preschoolers - Parents assist their child in learning basic skills to acquire confidence on the ice.

Snow Plow Sam 1-4 : Preschool thru Age 6 - Basic Skills & fun for beginning skaters

Basic 1 - 6: 7 yrs & Older - Students begin learning basic skills in an appropriate age group. As they pass each level, the skill will become more advanced. Students must fulfill the requirements of the USFS Learn To Skate USA Program in order to move to the next level.

Pre Freeskate & Freeskate 1 - 6: Students will learn more advanced moves, jumps, & footwork based on previously learned skills. All basic skill levels must be completed in order to participate in the Freeskate Levels.

Hockey 1 - 4: Students learn basic skating skills needed to move up to our Learn to Play program. Hockey skates & helmet must be worn. Bicycle helmets will not be accepted.

Adult Basic /Adult Dance: Adults learn skills based on a series of moves & foot- work. For Adult Dance, skaters have the opportunity to learn new dances & skate with a partner.
